Crescent’s story starts in heartbreak—but she hasn’t let that define her.

She was found by some kind-hearted Good Samaritans at a park in New Orleans, with a rope tightly tied around her neck in the sweltering heat of the day. Emaciated and suffering from heat exhaustion, she was barely hanging on. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time, and we were able to get her stable and on the road to recovery.

Despite everything she’s been through, Crescent absolutely loves people. She lights up around her humans and greets everyone with the sweetest, ear-to-ear smile that could melt even the toughest heart. She’s great in the car and always down for an adventure—whether it’s a ride around town or a new trail to explore, Crescent is just happy to be by your side. Her resilience and love for life are nothing short of inspiring—she’s proof that even the worst beginnings can lead to the brightest futures.
