When we made the difficult decision to permanently close our Claiborne warehouse, we knew we couldn’t leave behind the small colony of cats that had come to depend on us. Jenna and Kyle set traps to safely relocate the warehouse cats to the country, where they could continue living safely under our care. Chairman Meow was one of those cats.
This handsome solid blue domestic shorthair has always made it very clear that he is not a cat to be messed with. Even after two years in our care, Chairman Meow only tolerates the people who feed him, and even then, only on his terms. While he prefers to keep his distance, we respect him for exactly who he is. Chairman Meow is a permanent resident who will remain with us for the rest of his life, receiving the care, safety, and respect he deserves.
As he’s gotten older, Chairman Meow has needed some extra medical care, especially for his teeth. He had a tooth removed last year and is already scheduled for another dental procedure next month, becoming a monthly sponsor for him, will continue to help us with his medical care.
