Bedlam is the definition of “bark bigger than his bite.” When meeting new people, he may puff himself up and put on a tough-guy performance. Lots of voice, lots of opinion. But the second you actually step in to say hello?
He melts. Suddenly shy. Suddenly soft. Suddenly not so intimidating after all.
Bedlam just needs time. New situations can make him nervous, and he likes the chance to figure things out at his own pace. But once he feels safe and understands that you’re on his team, the real Bedlam shows up, playful, energetic, and ready to have fun.
He does well with many female dogs but would prefer to be the only male in the home. He likes his space and his role clearly defined.
