Meet Angel Soft & Cottenelle
On March 18th, 2020, the world shut down and toilet paper disappeared from every store shelf. While everything around us felt uncertain, four frightened feral cats came into our care: Scott, Cottenelle, Charmin, and Angel Soft. Their names seemed fitting for the moment in time.
They were young, terrified, and wanted absolutely nothing to do with people. Sadly, Scott passed away from illness two years ago, and Charmin escaped during a storm several years back. Six years later, the world feels uncertain for different reasons, but Angel Soft and Cottenelle remain with us.
Angel Soft is a beautiful long-haired tortoiseshell, while Cottenelle is a mysterious solid blue girl. Though six years have passed, they are still very feral at heart and prefer to keep their distance from people. They tolerate us as their caregivers, but their comfort has always been with fellow feral cats and the quiet safety of their environment.
Angel Soft and Cottenelle are permanent sanctuary residents and will spend the rest of their lives in our care, where they will always have food, shelter, medical care, and the safe peaceful life they deserve.
