Hattie came to us in November 2023 as part of a larger rescue effort, along with Clementine. An elderly gentleman had been lovingly caring for a colony of outdoor cats at his home. As his health declined and his home fell into disrepair, he agreed to move in with family—under one condition: that his beloved cats would be safe and well cared for. Good Samaritan stepped in and asked us for help.
That’s when we stepped in.
Hattie is a striking black smoke tabby with a quiet, observant nature. While she’s not fond of human interaction, she enjoys the company of other cats and has found comfort in their presence. As a feral cat, Hattie isn’t a candidate for adoption—but she’s found her forever home here with us.
She now spends her days in one of our spacious indoor/outdoor catteries, where she can live on her own terms—safe, respected, and surrounded by feline friends.
