Tomahawk: A Fighter in Need of His Match
For weeks, Tomahawk wandered the streets defeated, skin raw with infection, his body wasting away, and his feet sore from endless miles on scorching pavement. One of our dedicated volunteers refused to look away, following him, searching for an owner who never came forward.
Now safe with us, Tomahawk is on the road to recovery, but he’s not for the faint of heart. He is a lot of dog! Strong in both body and personality. He craves structure, guidance, and, most of all, a person as devoted to him as he is to them. He loves being challenged with different enrichment activities and going for walks so he can sniff out all of the smells.
Tomahawk will need an experienced handler, someone who understands what a powerful, determined dog like him needs to truly thrive. If you’re that person, he’s ready to give you his loyalty, his heart, and everything in between.
