When Trolli first arrived at VRC as a stray, he was practically a wild animal, terrified of people, desperate to escape, and determined to survive on his own. But underneath all that fear was a heart just waiting to be shown love.
With time, patience, and the steady care of our team, Trolli learned that people can be good… and that belly rubs are even better.
Today, he’s a completely different dog! He’s sweet, loving, and loyal. He adores people and gets along great with other dogs. He’s also extremely smart and always eager to learn.
That said, Trolli’s inner adventurer is still alive and well! He can scale a fence faster than you’d believe, especially if there’s a squirrel involved. Because of that, he’ll do best in a home with no fencing (leash walks are his thing!) or with a secure setup he can’t climb.
Trolli even went through the Prison Dog Program, though he was a little too shy for that structured environment at the time, he’s blossomed since then and truly learned how to just be a “normal dog.”
Now, Trolli’s ready to trade the wild life for the good life.
