"FOR PIT BULLS ONLY" Training Classes
(in partnership with L.A. City Animal Service)

Our "free to the public" 8 week training course is conducted at the North Central Animal Shelter near downtown Los Angeles.  There we are privileged to be able to use their state of the art training facility, complete with two huge grassy training fields.  These classes are open to the public and anyone owning a Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix.  We have been conducting these classes since March of 1999 with GREAT success!  Besides going through the basic training of sit, down, stay, come, etc, we also deal specifically with dog to dog aggression issues and how to "manage" your dog in these situations. We also have fun in dealing with every day life scenarios set up by your training instructors.  For a fun time, you and your dog will be introduced to the agility course and some fun "movie tricks" training given by one of Hollywood's most well known movie dog trainers.  Have we gotten your attention yet? Well then click on the star up top and we'll get you signed up!

COST : Free! To sign up, email us for a registration form.

PIT BULLS: FRIEND OR FOE

L.A. visits one of his favorite schools to do a lecture on "racism".

This was also another brainstorm from our "out of state" Pit Bull admirers. This is our 2-day seminar on Pit Bulls. The first day is all lecture on the history, temperament, do's and don'ts of the breed. The second day is a workshop with owners and their dogs or dogs from that particular agency or shelter. These seminars have been a huge sucess out here in Los Angeles and are catered not only toward the Pit Bull owners, but animal control, law enforcement and council and city officials. I am now able to travel out of state to conduct these lectures and just completed the first out of state lecture, by traveling to Broward County, Florida. California is spoiled, they can have me anytime :)

COST :  We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization so we will leave it up to the agency if they would like to charge a donation of a "cover charge" per person who attends our seminar.  Any and all donations are so appreciated and very much needed.

 Visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY!!
Due to the increasing number of people showing up that have become obsessed fans, stalkers or that think we are a public zoo, we now have to take control of the situation. We are a sanctuary for these animals and the last thing they want or need is someone coming by just to "check them out". We DO NOT give tours or allow the public to walk around like the animal shelter. Visitations are for those adopting, boarding or training only. This is not only for liability reasons, but for the sake of the privacy of these animals that have already had a tough life.
Please respect that.
If you are interested in visiting, you MUST call and make an appointment.
For those of you, who think you're "special" and are planning on just "dropping by", we have a surprise waiting for you at the front gate.....
SURPRISE!
