(here since Oct. 10, 2005)

Name: LILY
DOB: approx. Oct 2003
Gender: female
Size: a petite 40 lbs.
Other dogs: No
Cats: probably not
Kids: to be determined
Training: none yet
Profile: If her intake date looks familiar its because it was one of the most horrific days in history: Hurricane Katrina and come and gone and left behind thousands of displaced dogs, most of them Pit Bulls. Lily was one of them. When she came off the cargo plane, we thought she was dead. It was like she had given up on life. She lay in her crate so lifeless. Volunteers pulled her out and urged her to hang on. Well it's been two years and she is the life of the party. Though a little bit shy still, she was dubbed the favorite among the volunteers for this group of Katrina Pits. She even smiles on command. So far only one of our Katrina dogs has been adopted. Please make her #2.
