Profile: Janet and about 21 other Pit Bulls made history when they became the first dog fighting bust for the L.A.City Animal Services Abuse Task Force.  And like most abuse cases, the dogs sat in the shelter system while the courts took their sweet time.  Finally over a year later, the time had come.  The dogs were able to be adopted out.  But then another obstacle arose.  These were former fighting dogs.  Some felt they were too dangerous.  Others argued they could be rehabilitated.  In the end, animal lovers won.  Janet and Kaboose (also pictured here on our site) came to us.  Janet has got to be the happiest dog on the planet.  Despite her portly appearance, she has energy and does love to go for walks well maybe that's waddles.  This is one gal that will keep the family laughing.
