Profile: As you can tell by the date of intake, Bowie was another one of our many Katrina dogs. But she is "special". During Bowie's stay in Louisiana up until she came to us 3 months later, not one person noticed that she was deaf. So imagine the horror when Katrina hit. She had no idea what was coming and wandered the streets for weeks not being able to hear rescuers call her or packs of stray dogs coming to attack her. But being a true Pit Bull, she survived. And when she cocks her head and gazes at you with that one blue eye, your heart will melt. I know mine did.
