Size: a hefty 70 lbs.
Size: perfect - about 45 lbs.
Other dogs: at this point, he needs to be the only dog in the home
Cats: I doubt it.
Kids: Great, but they need to be older kids as he is still in the rough stages of training
Training ability: He is currently in our Pets In The Hood program undergoing his obedience training. So far he is doing extremely well and responding excellently

Profile: Thanks to his "guardian angel" Rene, since she picked him off the freeway in a not-so-good neighborhood. Doing what was the right thing, she took him to the shelter to see if his owners showed up. This poor little guy, though safe off the street, ended up getting beat up by other dogs in the shelter. So now he is safe here, and Rene visits him, taking him for long hikes. But he patiently waits for his very own "forever hiker".
